Yeah, I made the trip to Leinie’s Lodge in Chippewa Falls, WI. It was fun. I guess I went because I was pretty close to Eau Claire, not because I had any major itch to go.
Having been on a few brewery tours, I can say that they’re pretty much all the same. Some (the good ones) focus more on the brewing process, while others (the not-so-good ones) focus on the packaging. All of them focus on marketing their beer to you—as if you weren’t sold on it already.
Some of the better tours I’ve been on:- Anheuser-Busch, but go when the weather is nice
- Leinie’s, and definitely go when the weather is nice
