Stale bread? Bacon grease?
Youʻve got the makings for really, really good croutons.
Put some bacon grease into the pan and toast up the cubed bread. It’s nearly criminal that you can make something so good out of things that are ordinarily destined for the garbage. Best of all, the skill level is very low.
Note: You can use any oil, but bacon grease is mega, mega, King Kong good for this purpose.
