Last week I had to go to one of the less exciting places in the United States: Columbus, OH. Kind of the antithesis of adventure. Well, in my mind anyway.
I had a mid-morning flight and didn’t really want to go. So when the airline started asking for volunteers to be put on a later flight, I was sure to volunteer for that. Suffice to say, I got my wish. I got delayed not once, but twice.
Of course I got some compensation from the airline. This is standard. So I guess I now have the ability to have some future adventures. Now the question is what will they be? Alaska on my own? Family vacation? So hard to say.
