I actually looked for a part-time job, but in the long run I decided that it isn’t the most effective use of my time. It is actually better to devote my efforts to other projects that may provide future earnings.
Which seems totally contradictory. Job = money now. Future money may not even happen. But I looked at it this way: $8 or $10 per hour to deliver pizza isn’t very rewarding. I’ll loose 15 to 20% off the top as taxes. I’ll still not be very happy about my financial situation.
So I find that I’m freelancing to add money to the bank account and working on other projects to help improve potential earnings in the future.
