Headaches

I thought my carefully crafted wean-myself-off-of-caffeine plan was going to avoid the withdrawal headaches. I was wrong. I should have gone cold turkey and gotten it over with instead of going from lots of Diet Pepsi to not so much to almost none then caffeine free…

Dumb. I thought I could avoid the pain. Wrong again.

This is a picture of the Berwyn Car-ka-bob taken from the ground. This sculpture, Spindle, is coming down to make way for a Walgreen's pharmacy. The strange part is that there is already a Walgreen's not 100 meters away.

Rain

on Sunday it rains.
the sun never breaks through,
so I read the Trib.

Late September

The wife and I might wind up seeing the Prairie Home Companion at the end of September.

St. Paul and the Fitzgerald Theater are about two hours from my in-laws’ house. So we’re thinking of making a day of it once the baby takes a bottle, but that’s a big maybe.

Done

10. The Dick Tracy Museum

I went here on a lark. I mean, it’s fifteen minutes from home. Why not?

It’s a small, two-room museum, which looks to be entirely volunteer operated. If you’re way into Dick Tracy or Chester Gould or stuff like that, this is for you.

As for completing the “10 musea this year” goal, I feel accomplished and hope to keep at the musea. After all, they’re mostly fun.

Easy enough to do

So then that way I can vanity blog lots and lots in English too!

Yay me.

Anyway, the trick is to remember to post to your blog, or else nothing happens.
