After the baby arrived last summer, getting to a baseball game kinda took a back seat. For those of you who have children, you understand.
At last I managed to get to get to a baseball game at Indianapolis. The Indians play at Victory Field, and it was run well. From the ticketing to the gift shop (for a program) to the conecession, it was a wonderful experience. I sat about 20 rows behind home plate, which is about as close as I’ve sat in a long time.
Sadly, the game was a total blow out. Pawtucket Red Sox 17, Indianapolis Indians 5.
